Now, the Bulldogs are also the top team off of it, as Bedford received all 15 first-place votes to claim the No. 1 spot in the final New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll for 2025.
After opening the year in the top position, Bedford held on to it for nine out of 10 weeks. Pinkerton, the D1 runner-up, claimed the No. 1 ranking for one week, while the teams were also tied for first for one week.
The Astros moved back up to second in the final poll after dropping to fourth going into the playoffs while Nashua South, which lost to Bedford in the D1 semifinals, remained at No. 3.
Salem, which lost in the D1 semifinals to Pinkerton, jumped four spots to finish the year at No. 4, while Manchester Memorial, who was upset by the Blue Devils in the D1 quarterfinals, moved down to No. 5. Bishop Guertin came in at No. 6 after falling to South in the D1 quarterfinals.
Winnacunnet remained at No. 7 in the poll following a quarterfinal exit at the hands of Bedford, while Windham moved down two spots to No. 8 after losing to Pinkerton in the D1 quarterfinals.
Trinity, the D2 champions, moved into the final poll to claim the No. 9 spot, while Souhegan, the D2 runner-up, rounded out the final top 10.

The coaches poll is voted on by football coaches from around the state and members of the media. This is the final poll of the 2025 season.
