Bedford girls soccer opens with win over Dover

Mia Roy scored two goals and the Bedford High School girls soccer team shut out Dover 4-0 Wednesday.

Roy, a freshman playing her first varsity game, scored in the 27th minute to give the Bulldogs the lead, and made it 2-0 in the 56th minute.

Seana Gosselin, who assisted on Roy’s second goal, scored on a penalty kick in the 59th minute and Meghan Foley added a goal in the 72nd minute. Saylor Clark and Rebecca Rooney also had assists for Bedford.
