Bedford goes wire to wire at the top of the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Field Hockey Coaches Poll
The Bedford High School field hockey team captured its first Division I title on Saturday, and that victory helped the Bulldogs complete the season where they started in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll.
The Bedford High School field hockey team captured its first Division I title on Saturday, and that victory helped the Bulldogs complete the season where they started in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll.
Bedford received all nine first-place votes to finish the year as the No. 1 team in the poll, as spot the Bulldogs held the entire season. Keene, which was the runner-up in D1, was second in the poll, a spot the Blackbirds were in for five of the nine weeks of the poll.
Londonderry, which lost to Bedford in the D1 semifinals, finished at No. 3, and Winnacunnet, the other D1 semifinalist, took the No. 4 spot. All of the top four teams were in the same position going into the postseason.
Souhegan, the D2 champion, moved up one spot to round out the top five, while Bow, the D2 runner-up, jumped up to No. 6. Pinkerton, which lost to Winnacunnet in the D1 quarterfinals, came in at No. 7, and John Stark, who fell to Bow in the D2 semifinals, was at No. 8.
Oyster River, which lost to Souhegan in the D2 semifinals, and Exeter, which lost to Keene in the D1 quarterfinals, tied for No. 9 to finish out the final poll.

The coaches poll is voted on by field hockey coaches from around the state and members of the media. This is the final poll for the 2025 season.
