Bedford retakes top spot, Windham moves in to this week’s New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Football Coaches Poll
One week after relinquishing the top spot, the Bedford High School football team has returned to No. 1 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll.
One week after relinquishing the top spot, the Bedford High School football team has returned to No. 1 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll.
The Bulldogs are back at the top for the fifth time in six weeks after ending up tied for first with Pinkerton two weeks and then watching the Astros slip past them for the No. 1 spot last week. Bedford received 13 first-place votes while Pinkerton took the remaining three.
Bishop Guertin and Nashua South remained at No. 3 and 4, respectively, for the third week in a row and Manchester Memorial round out the top five for the second straight week while Winnacunnet held on at No. 6 despite its first loss of the season.
Windham became the second team this year to move into the top 10 after receiving no votes the pervious week. The Jaguars, who were in the preseason poll but dropped out after the first week, returned at No. 7.
Souhegan traded spots with Exeter, as the Sabers moved up to No. 8 and the Blue Hawks fell to No. 9. For the second straight week, Plymouth took the final spot, coming at No. 10.
Salem dropped out of the poll after suffering its third loss in a row; the Blue Devils were third in the poll just three weeks ago.
