NASHUA – Sophia Bilodeau wasn’t too concerned that the first shot she took in overtime Monday didn’t find the back of the net.
Not when the Bishop Guertin High School senior knows how she’s able to clean up rebounds.
With the ball in the circle, and only Concord goalie Brooke Nelson in her way, Bilodeau put her first attempt off Nelson’s pads, gathered the rebound, and while the Crimson Tide defense closed in, she put a shot into the far corner of the cage.
The goal, Bilodeau’s second of the game, gave Bishop Guertin a 3-2 win over Concord in Division I field hockey action at Stellos Stadium.
