GOFFSTOWN – Despite coming out Wednesday night with a lot of intensity, the Bishop Guertin High School boys hockey team didn’t have much to show for it at the first intermission.

The Cardinals had carried play for most of the first period, but a bad bounce led to a Bedford goal that tied the game 1-1 after the first 15 minutes.

Bishop Guertin was able to put any disappointment behind it, however, scoring twice in the second period and holding off any threat by the Bulldogs in the third for a 4-1 win in Division I action at Saint Anselm’s Sullivan Arena.
