DERRY – The Bishop Guertin High School boys lacrosse team was seeing red Thursday and it wasn’t just because the Cardinals were squaring off against Pinkerton Academy.
Coming off a frustrating loss, Bishop Guertin coach Chris Cameron challenged his players to step up their game, and with a trip to visit their biggest rival up next, the Cardinals answered the call.
Bishop Guertin scored eight goals in the first quarter and played what its coach labeled a complete game in a 16-4 win over Pinkerton in a Division I contest.
