Bishop Guertin edges Bedford for top spot in inaugural NHHSSports Girls Lacrose Coaches Poll
As has been the case in Division I the last couple of years, the Bishop Guertin High School girls lacrosse team sits atop the first NHHSSports Girls Lacrosse Coaches Poll.
As has been the case in Division I the last couple of years, the Bishop Guertin High School girls lacrosse team sits atop the first NHHSSports Girls Lacrosse Coaches Poll.
The Cardinals, who have won three straight D1 titles, received five of seven first-place votes, narrowly edging out Bedford, which took the other two first-place selections.
Portsmouth, the four-time defending Division II champs, came in third while Pinkerton was fourth and Souhegan rounded out the top five. Hollis Brookline was sixth and Londonderry finished seventh.
Exeter claimed the eighth spot in the poll and Windham followed in ninth while Bow, the lone Division III team in the top 10, came in at 10th. Five other teams also received votes.
Here is the NHHSS Girls Lacrosse Coaches Poll for the preseason. These are the top 10 lacrosse teams in the state, with first-place votes/points (T=tie).
