Bishop Guertin football ends regular season with a win over Keene

NASHUA – Matt Santosuosso ran for three touchdowns and threw for another to help the Bishop Guertin High School football team to a 49-19 win over Keene on Saturday night.

Santosuosso rushed for 121 yards on five carries, scoring on runs of 44, 14 and 34 yards, and was 4 of 6 passing for 103 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

Michael MacDonough was also 2 of 2 for 48 yards and a touchdown, while Gavin Bombara had two catches for 52 yards and a score and Cody Szymansky had two catches for 48 yards and a touchdown. Hudson Schmitt also had a touchdown run for the Cardinals (7-2).

Sawyer Lepple led Keene (1-8) with 95 yards and a touchdown on the ground and two receptions for 24 yards, while Jasiah Sales rushed for 89 yards. Elijah Hanson and Emery Ray also had rushing touchdowns for the Blackbirds.
