Bishop Guertin football hangs on to beat Nashua North (video)

NASHUA – All season long, the Bishop Guertin High School football team has done whatever it takes to win.

Against Nashua North on Friday, the Cardinals needed a few things to go their way on top of that.

After being up two touchdowns with over seven minutes remaining, Bishop Guertin found itself clinging to a one-point lead less than four minutes later, as the Titans lined up to kick the game-tying extra point.

But the kick was wide left – one of six missed kicks on the night – and the Cardinals were able to run out the clock to preserve a 26-25 win over North in a Division I West Conference game at Stellos Stadium.
