Bishop Guertin girls basketball to be featured this winter on ‘The Season’

The Bishop Guertin High School girls basketball is trying to win one for the thumb and you will be able to follow the journey.

This winter, as the Cardinals try for their fifth-straight Division I championship, we’ll be right there with them, as Bishop Guertin will be featured on “The Season.” From the first day of tryouts to the final buzzer sounds, we’ll be bringing you a behind-the-scenes look at every step the Cardinals take this year.

Bishop Guertin enters the year having won 31 straight games, dating back to the 2017-18 season, and with six seniors returning for this year, the Cardinals have a core back that has been a part of three D1 championship teams. A large group of incoming players will look to fill various roles for Bishop Guertin, which opens the regular season in Nashua on Dec. 14 against La Salle Academy, from Providence, R.I.

The first episode of The Season (2020): Bishop Guertin Girls Basketball will be posted on Thursday, Jan. 2, and will continue to run weekly through the end of the winter season.
