The Bishop Guertin High School boys lacrosse team is picking up right where it left off – as a unanimous No. 1 choice in the NHHSS Boys Lacrosse Coaches Poll.
The Cardinals received all 11 first-place votes to remain in the top spot heading into the 2022 season. It’s the fourth time in five years of the poll that they’ve entered the regular season as the No. 1 team.
Pinkerton and Exeter enter the year tied for second in the poll, while Portsmouth, the defending Division II champs, come in at No. 4 and Derryfield rounds out the top five.
Two more D1 teams come in at Nos. 6 and 7, with Nashua South and Londonderry starting the bottom half of the top 10, respectively. Timberlane is at No. 8 while Concord enters the poll at No. 9. Bedford takes the final spot, with seven teams also receiving votes.
