The top four teams in the NHHSSports Girls Lacrosse Coaches Poll have been locked into those spots for the first four weeks of the poll.

The rest of the top 10 continues to see a lot of change.

For the fourth week in a row, Bishop Guertin and Bedford split first-place votes, with the Cardinals taking a narrow edge for the top spot. Portsmouth and Pinkerton are close behind.

The Cardinals have a busy week, starting with a game at Exeter on Monday. Bishop Guertin then returns home to host Concord on Wednesday before back-to-back road games at Manchester Central and at Staples (Westport, Conn.).

Bedford will host Dover on Monday and Nashua North on Friday with one of the season’s biggest games right in between. The Bulldogs will host Portsmouth on Wednesday in a matchup of two of the top three teams. The Clippers will also travel to face Manchester Memorial-West on Monday and host Exeter on Saturday.

Pinkerton goes on the road for three straight, heading to Nashua North on Monday, then to Souhegan on Wednesday and Londonderry on Saturday. Souhegan moves back up into the top five and the Sabers will head to Salem on Monday before hosting the Astros.

Windham drops a spot to No. 6 and the Jaguars will host Winnacunnet on Wednesday before playing at Coe-Brown on Thursday. Hollis Brookline moved up two spots to seventh despite losing its only game last week to Portsmouth. The Cavaliers host Pembroke on Monday and Hanover on Wednesday.

Exeter stayed at No. 8 this week, and after hosting Bishop Guertin, the Blue Hawks will host Merrimack on Friday and travel to Portsmouth on Saturday.

After suffering its first loss of the year, Nashua South drops to No. 9 and will be on the visiting team in three games this week. The Panthers are at Merrimack on Monday, take on Nashua North on Thursday and travel to Dover on Friday.

Hanover makes its first appearance in the poll, coming in at No. 10. The Bears go on the road to take on ConVal on Monday and Hollis Brookline on Wednesday before hosting Alvirne on Friday.

Here is the NHHSS Girls Lacrosse Coaches Poll for Week 4. These are the top 10 lacrosse teams in the state, with records, first-place votes/points and last week’s ranking (T=tie).
