Bow captures 3rd straight D3 wrestling championship

The Bow High School wrestling team had three wrestlers win their respective weight classes Sunday as the Falcons edged Winnisquam to win its third Division III championship in a row.

The Falcons’ score of 174 points put them just ahead of the second-place Bears, who had one champion and four second-place finishers, good enough for 156.5 points. White Mountains came in third with 119.5 points while John Stark (88) and Kearsarge (80) rounded out the top five.

Campbell, which finished sixth (68), was the only other team with multiple champions.
