Boys Lacrosse Roundup: Bedford goes on late run to beat Exeter (video)
Here are results from Wednesday’s high school boys lacrosse action.
EXETER – The Bedford High School boys lacorsse team rallied from a one-goal deficit in the fourth quarter Wednesday to beat Exeter 11-8.
The Bulldogs trailed 8-7 with just under nine minutes to play before going on a 4-0 run to turn things around. Bryce D’Urso had six goals and Bennett Matthews had two goals and four assists to lead Bedford (6-1, No. 3 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll.
Dex Bekar and Dylan Riccio also had a goal and an assist apiece, while Riccio was 20 of 22 on faceoffs. Savo Ftorek added a goal and Will Frongillo had an assist while Ethan Conn made 13 saves.
Sean Haugh led the Blue Hawks (5-2, No. 4) with three goals while Griffin Genard had two goals and an assist and Sam Gibney also scored twice. Matt Wilhelm added a goal and James Bernich finished with 10 saves.

No. 9 Dover 10, Timberlane 6
The Green Wave got eight goals from their attack on the way to a win over the Owls.
Logan Carter had three goals and an assist and Porter Gray also scored three times for Dover (5-2) while Sylas Brown had two goals and an assist. Cooper Ketcham finished with five assists and Parker Ketcham had a goal and an assist.
Danny Toland also had a goal and Brayden Perry chipped in with an assist while Owen Wood was 12 for 20 on faceoffs. Danny Bretz made 13 saves and Bryson Glidden, Ryan Hebert and Cowen Kozlowski played well defensively.
Landon Petry led Timberlane (2-3) with three goals and Aiden Davern added two goals. Andrew Kellerman also scored for the Owls and Ryan Bazidane finished with 12 saves.
Windham 14, Nashua North 2
Evan Ardizzone scored seven goals and had three assists to lead the Jaguars past the Titans.
Sam Kramer added two goals and three assists and Josh Trudel had three goals, one assist and four groundballs for Windham (4-3). Cameron Terry had a goal and an assist Evan DellOrgano chipped in with a goal while Ethan Peluso had nine groundballs.
Nico Bottari and Nick Wilkinson had a goal apiece for North (1-6) and Josh Parsons recorded 14 saves.
Central Catholic 16, Londonderry 15
The Lancers dropped an out-of-state road game to the Raiders, of Lawrence, Mass.
Trey Campbell had six goals and two assists and Brody Campbell also had six goals to lead Londonderry (3-4). Mason Taylor recorded six assists while Owen Huard had two goals and an assist and Ben Williams also scored.
Zach Needham and JJ Digeorge had an assist apiece while Austin Callahan had two assists, caused four turnovers, got eight groundballs and won a faceoff. Eli Bettencourt and Griffin Cunningham were also strong on faceoffs.
Broch St. Gelais finished with 14 saves while Braden Ayers and Graeme Cunningham played well defensively.
No. 8 Merrimack 11, Souhegan 4
Sean Anderson and Gabe Gorman had three goals and an assist apiece to lead the Tomahawks past the Sabers.
Gavin Hickey added two goals and Trevor Shorette had three assists for Merrimack (4-2). Cayden Dine and Shea Scott had a goal and an assist each while Austin Kovaliv recorded a goal and Josh Kahn had an assist.
Mason Trembley (five saves) and Seamus Hickey (six) combined for the win in goal.
