Boys Lacrosse Roundup: Kingswood pulls away late to beat Souhegan (video)

AMHERST – The Kingswood Regional High School boys lacrosse team pulled away in the fourth quarter Monday to get an 8-2 win over Souhegan.

Parker Gilpatrick had two goals to lead the Knights (4-1) while Myles O’Keefe and Collin Pelleteir had a goal and an assist apiece. Aaron Bartlett added two assists and Brady Walston, Devin Perkins, Parker Aucoin and Dylan Ivester each added a goal.

Atley Rollins had 12 saves and Aucoin helped Kingswood win 9 of 14 faceoffs.

Souhegan (2-6) got a goal apiece from Jud Harris and Collin Yeaton while Sean Reardon made eight saves,

Kingswood led 2-0 at halftime and extended the lead to 4-1 in the third quarter. The Knights went on a 4-0 run over the first seven minutes of the fourth to put the game away.

No. 2 Pinkerton 11, No. 4 Exeter 10 (OT)

Matt Gormady scored a manup goal with 46.5 seconds left in overtime to give the Astros a road win over the Blue Hawks.

Gormady finished with three goals and an assist while Levi Weaver had four goals and two assists, including one on the game-winner for Pinkerton (8-1, No. 2 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll). Tyler Pinardi added two goals and three assists.

Brady Blaszka led the defense with five groundballs and three caused turnovers and Caleb Hobden had four groundballs while Owen Perkins came up big in goal.

No. 10 Londonderry 13, No. 8 Dover 12

Trey Campbell had six goals and two assist to help lead the Lancers past the Green Wave.

Brody Campbell added five goals and Owen Huard finished with two goals and an assist for Londonderry (4-4). Hayden West chipped in with two assists and Mason Taylor also had an assist.

Eli Bettencourt won 20 of 28 faceoffs and had an assist and Austin Callahan had five turnovers, 10 groundballs and an assist. Broch St. Gelais made 18 saves and Lowell Lees played well defensively.

Dover (5-3) got five goals and an assist from Logan Carter while Porter Gray had four goals and one assist. Parker Ketcham had a goal and two assists and Sylas Brown had a goal and an assist while Finn Joyce also scored.

Geffin Adorian recorded two assists and Cooper Ketcham also had a helper.

Bow 15, Gilford 1

Sam Bennett and Niko Mallios each had four goals as they helped the Falcons get a win over the Golden Eagles.

Parker Kazanowski and TJ Ingkass had two goals apiece for Bow (5-0) while Harrison Fournior and Wyatt Premo each had a goal and an assist. Devon St. Cyr also had a goal while Benny Reardon and Rowan Schlosser each had an assist.

Kyle Cimis also had an assist and five caused turnovers and Miles Miller went 13 of 18 on faceoffs. Brad Ekstrom and Colton Williamson split time in goal and each made three saves.

No. 9 Merrimack 8, Nashua South 4

The Tomahawks got two goals and an assist from Sean Anderson in a win over the Panthers.

Austin Kovaliv also scored twice and Cayden Dine and Gabe Gorman each had a goal and an assist for Merrimack (6-2). Gavin Hickey picked up an assist, as did Cash Torres, his first varsity point, while also going 8 of 9 on faceoffs.

Mason Tremblay recorded 13 saves for the Tomahawks.

Max Signoroi scored twice for South (4-4) while Tyler Benzekri had a goal and an assist and Owen Roy also scored.

Windham 13, Nashua North 3

Sam Kramer had four goals and three assists to help lead the Jaguars to their second win over the Titans in as many games.

Josh Trudel recorded four goals and Evan DellOrfano also had three goals for Windham (5-3). Tyler DellOrfano added three assists while Aaron Felings had a goal and an assist and Ethan Peluso had a goal and 10 groundballs.

Nolan Lamb (four groundballs), Hudson Travis (four) and Nolan Dunn (three) also played well while Jack Tanso had seven saves and an assist.

North (1-7) got a goal apiece from Nick Wilkinson, Nico Bottari and Gavin Dungan. Josh Parsons finished with 14 saves.

Timberlane 19, Spaulding 4

Landon Petry and Rocco Psareas each scored seven goals to lead the Owls to a win over the Red Raiders.

Psareas added five assists and Petry had four while Noah Beckler also scored two goals for Timberlane (3-3). Aiden Davern had a goal and two assists and Dylan Linblad and Gio Recesso added a goal and an assist apiece.

Ryan Bazidane finished with 11 saves for the Owls.

No. 3 Bedford 16, Concord 3

Bennett Matthews had five goals and three assists to help the Bulldogs to the win over the Crimson Tide.

Bryce D’Urso added three scores and Cobe Rubin had a goal and three assists for Bedford (8-1). Savo Ftorek recorded two goals and an assist and Brooks Hardie and Dax Bekar also scored twice.

Jacoby DeJesus and Drew Paskalis added a goal apiece while Ethan Conn (five saves) and Sam Swiniarski split time on goal. Dylan Riccio was 15 of 9 on faceoffs and Finn LaMarche was 3 of 4.

Kennett 12, Milford 7

Rocco Bartling made 19 saves for the Spartans but they came up short against the Eagles.

Josh Clark scored three goals and Jace Wilhelmi added two scores for Milford (2-5). Jamie Noble and Nathan Lesniak also had a goal apiece.
