Campbell football comes back in fourth quarter to beat Monadnock

LITCHFIELD – Keegan Mills didn’t know who was chasing him or how close anyone might be to gaining on him.
He was just going to keep running until someone caught him or he crossed the goal line.
The Campbell High School senior busted through the first level of the Monadnock football team’s defense and had nothing but green grass in front of him. Mills raced 47 yards for a touchdown – one of five on the day for him – to give the Cougars a lead they had let slip away earlier in the fourth quarter.
After a Huskies turnover on their next possession, Mills added another touchdown run to put a bow on Campbell’s 40-27 win over Monadnock in a Division III game Saturday.
