Cavs cruise past Blue Knights

BROOKLINE – The Hollis/Brookline High School boys tennis team made quick work Wednesday of Manchester West, winning 9-0 in the Division II opener for both teams.

The Cavaliers swept five of the nine matches, getting 8-0 singles wins from Matt Kozsan, Ryan Connell and Jonathan Gual.

Kozsan won the No. 2 singles match, beating Mark Lyscars, while Connell (No. 3) knocked off Dan Lee and Gaul (No. 4) beat Josh Wilson. H/B’s Corbin Tulley won the No. 1 match, holding off West’s Amir Parajuli 8-4. Sam Mangano won the No. 5 match, besting Greg Andrew 8-1, and Gaetan Ciot defeated Jake McNamara, 8-1, at No. 6

Tulley and Kozsan won the No. 1 doubles match, beating Parajuli and Lyscars 8-1. Connell and Gaul topped Lee and Wilson 8-0 in the No. 2 match while Mangano and Ciot were 8-0 winners over Andrew and McNamara in the No. 3 match.
