Cavs hand Sabers first loss
The Hollis/Brookline High School boys tennis team pulled out a 5-4 win over previously undefeated Souhegan on Monday. The teams split the six singles matches, and the Cavaliers took two of three in the doubles to improve to 4-1 in Class I. The Sabers drop to 5-1.

Corbin Tulley won the No. 1 singles match for H/B, defeating Sam Protzmann 8-4. Souhegan’s Nishon Radhakrishnan gave the Sabers a win at No. 2, beating Matt Murphy 8-3. Protzmann and Radhakrishnan also won the No. 1 doubles match, 8-5, over Tulley and Ryan Connell.
Connell gave H/B a win in the No. 5 singles match, beating Liam Murphy 8-2. Jonathan Gaul also had a singles win for the Cavs, winning at No. 4 over Nate Redington, 8-4.
Souhegan’s Nick Poulack defeated Matt Kozsan at No. 3 singles, 9-8 (7-2), and Matt Protzmann of Souhegan defeated Sam Mangano, 8-3, in the No. 6 match.
Kozsan and Gaul won the No. 2 doubles match over Poulack and Redington, 9-7, while Matt Murphy and Mangano knocked off Liam Murphy and Matt Protzmann, 8-4, in the No. 3 match.
