Coe-Brown boys lacrosse beats Hopkinton to reach first D3 title game
The No. 1 Coe-Brown Northwood Academy boys lacrosse team continued its undefeated season by knocking off No. 4 Hopkinton 14-7 in the Division III semifinals Thursday at Bank of NH Stadium in Laconia.

Ryan Rodler (two assists), Gilbert Bean and Garrett Ward (one assist) each scored three goals to help lead the Bears (17-0) to the championship game for the first time in program history.
Sam Frye also scored twice and Joseph Fenton had a goal and two assists while Glenn Papineau and Landon Midwood added a goal apiece and Liam White had two assists.
Jack Matson made 10 saves and Aiden McGuigan handled faceoffs, with each recording an assist.
Jackson Westover led Hopkinton (12-4) with three goals and Merrick Chapin had two goals and three assists. Owen Buss added a goal and an assist and Shane Smith also scored.
Ozzie Rosenholm was 14 of 22 on faceoffs for the Hawks.
Coe-Brown got out to a 5-2 lead in the first quarter and it was still a three-goal game at halftime. The Bears doubled the lead in the third quarter, taking a 13-7 advantage into the fourth before keeping the Hawks scoreless in the final frame.
Now Coe-Brown will take on No. 2 Plymouth, which defeated No. 6 Campbell in the other semifinal, at 6 p.m. Saturday at Bank of NH Stadium in Laconia.
