Coe-Brown moves into the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Boys Lacrosse Coaches Poll

The Coe-Brown Northwood Academy boys lacrosse team is off to another undefeated start and now the Bears have climbed into the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll for the first time.

The Bears sit at 6-0 in Division III and took claim of the final spot in this week’s top 10. Bishop Guertin was again No. 1 in the poll, getting 14 first-place votes, while for the first time this year, Pinkerton snagged a first-place vote.

The Astros also kept their spot at No. 2, while Bedford once again came in at No. 3 and Exeter was against at No. 4. Portsmouth rounded out the top five for the third week in a row, although with Exeter scheduled to play both Bedford and Portsmouth this week, change could be on the horizon.

Derryfield and Winnacunnet remained at Nos. 6 and 7, respectively, while Merrimack held on at No. 8. Dover was steady at No. 9 for the second week in a row with Coe-Brown rounding out the top 10.

Dropped out: Londonderry.

The coaches poll is voted on by boys lacrosse coaches from around the state and members of the media. The poll will be updated every Monday throughout the regular season.
