Déjà vu: No changes to this week’s MerchSquared.com/NHHSSports Boys Lacrosse Coaches Poll

Last week’s MerchSquared.com/NHHSSports Boys Lacrosse Coaches Poll was so good, it was brought back for another week.

For the second week in a row, the top 10 came out in the exact same order, with Bishop Guertin claiming the top spot in the poll, getting all 15 first-place votes. Bedford and Pinkerton remained at Nos. 2 and 3, with the later hosting the Cardinals on Tuesday in a huge game in Division I.

The biggest change for the week was just outside the top 10, as Hollis Brookline was the first team out after winning two out of three games, including a close loss to Derryfield.

Bishop Guertin will take its No. 1 ranking all over New England this week, as the Cardinals play at Xaverian Brothers, of Westwood, Mass., on Monday, then go to Pinkerton on Tuesday and then to Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I., on Thursday to play Darien (Conn.) for the first time.

Bedford goes on the road Monday to take on Nashua North and on Wednesday to face Exeter before returning home to play Salem on Friday. Pinkerton, after hosting Bishop Guertin, will go to Windham on Friday and then to Portsmouth on Saturday.

Exeter held off Derryfield to remain at No. 4, with games this week at Londonderry on Monday, and then home against Bedford on Wednesday and Keene-Monadnock on Friday. The Cougars, who stayed at No. 5, will host Kingswood on Tuesday and Concord on Thursday.

After a strong finish to the week, Portsmouth remained at No. 6, while Winnacunnet, which lost to the Clippers during the week, was close behind at No. 7. Portsmouth goes to Alvirne on Wednesday before hosting Pinkerton on Saturday, while the Warriors host St. Thomas on Monday and Merrimack Valley on Thursday.

Merrimack remained in the eighth spot this week and will be on the road, playing at Concord on Monday, at Central Catholic, of Lawrence, Mass., on Wednesday and at Souhegan on Friday. Londonderry held on at No. 9 and will have a four-game week, hosting Exeter on Monday, Dover on Wednesday and Souhegan on Thursday before going to Manchester on Friday.

Timberlane, which remained at No. 10, will go to Goffstown on Wednesday and then host Alvirne on Thursday.
