MANCHESTER – A year ago, the Timberlane Regional High School boys lacrosse team surprised Derryfield by coming from behind to grab a win on the Cougars’ home turf.

On Tuesday, it was Derryfield’s turn to surprise the Owls, and the Cougars didn’t wait until the end of the game to pull it.

Derryfield opened the game with three goals in the first four-plus minutes and six goals in the first 10, executing on offense while also taking advantage of Timberlane’s miscues, on the way to a 17-2 win in a matchup of two of the top teams in Division II.
