WINDHAM – There probably haven’t been many wins during the Derryfield School boys lacrosse team’s run that looked like Tuesday’s game against Windham.
Fortunately for the Cougars, appearances aren’t really noted in the final score.
The Jaguars held Derryfield scoreless for a quarter, but the Cougars were able to do just enough on offense in the final three frames to come away with an 8-2 win over Windham in a Division II contest. The win is the 65th in a row for Derryfield, the longest active streak in the country and eighth-longest all-time.
