When the chances finally came, No. 2 Derryfield was ready for them, going on a 6-0 run over an 11-minute stretch in the first half and hanging on in the second for a 10-3 win over No. 6 St. Thomas in Wednesday’s Division II semifinal at Stellos Stadium in Nashua.
