If Greg Cochrane made a list of reasons he felt confident about his Hollis Brookline High School field hockey team heading into this season, Ashley Disco’s name would be at the top.
Coming off the program’s first championship in 2024, the Cavaliers graduated seven seniors, four of whom accounted for a whole lot of goals, not just last season, but during their varsity careers.
A reason to be concerned for some, but Cochrane knew he had the player returning in Disco who put a lot of that in motion, and do so with little fanfare.
