GOFFSTOWN – After a second quarter Friday that saw the Dover High School boys lacrosse team control possession and take its first lead of the day against Goffstown, coach John Silverio thought momentum might be swinging his team’s way.
During halftime, the Green Wave coach told his team that the Grizzlies’ defense might start to wear down, especially if Dover could keep winning faceoffs.
Dover did just that, keeping possession after faceoff wins – and forcing turnovers when it didn’t – as the Green Wave turned a close game into a comfortable 12-3 win over Goffstown in a Division II game.
