Dover’s Carter named Max Field Hockey’s NH Player of the Year
Audrey Carter, who helped lead the Dover High School field hockey team to the Division I title last fall, was recently named New Hampshire’s Player of the Year by Max Field Hockey.
Audrey Carter, who helped lead the Dover High School field hockey team to the Division I title last fall, was recently named New Hampshire’s Player of the Year by Max Field Hockey.
Carter, a senior for the Green Wave, was one of 22 players recognized by Max Field Hockey as a state POY, as she scored 24 goals and had 21 assists last season.
She was also named the Division I Offensive Player of the Year and was selected first team all-state by both the NHFHCA and NHHSSports, along with making the NFHCA Northern New England all-region team.
Carter was joined on Max Field Hockey’s New England all-region first team by Bishop Guertin’s Taylor Guibord and Windham’s Sophia Ponzini. Jaelyn Crossman (Pinkerton), Lauryn Guevin (John Stark), Erin Lynch (Dover) and Ava Sanchez (Windham) were named to the second team.
