BEDFORD – Henry Vogt had already done his part Wednesday to help the Exeter High School boys lacrosse get in front of Bedford.

And with the game on the line, the sophomore goalie stepped in the final minutes to shut the door on the Bulldogs. 

Vogt made three of his 18 saves down the stretch, with the Blue Hawks clinging to a one-goal lead, and Exeter was able to get an insurance goal late to hang to an 8-7 win over Bedford in Division I action.
