Exeter sweeps basketball doubleheader from Winnacunnet

EXETER – It was loud. It was exciting. It was another chapter in the Granite State’s best high school rivalry, as the Exeter and Winnacunnet boys basketball teams put on a show for 32 minutes in front of more than two thousand.

At the final horn it was the host Blue Hawks celebrating a convincing 69-59 over the Warriors to stay undefeated.

The Blue Hawks earned the victory on the back of strong defense and a deep offensive attack. Kevin Henry put in 20 points and pulled down seven rebounds while Ryan Grijalva added 18 himself. Sophomore guard Josh Morrisette added 14 points and Cam Clark had nine.
