There have been some big high school field hockey games played that last few seasons between Exeter and Windham.

Another is on tap for this week.

The Blue Hawks and the Jaguars will meet in Exeter on Wednesday in a battle of teams ranked in the top 3 of this week’s NHHSSports Coaches Poll.

Exeter stayed at No. 1 for the second week in a row to start the season, getting seven first-place votes. After hosting Windham on Wednesday, the Blue Hawks will be in action Thursday at home against Merrimack.

Dover traded spots with Windham, as the Green Wave picked up a first-place vote and moved up to second. They’ll head to Keene on Wednesday before hosting Concord on Friday. Meanwhile, the Jaguars, who got two firsts, will make the trip to Keene on Friday.

John Stark and Winnacunnet switched spots in the poll, with the Generals moving up to No. 4. They’ll return from an eight-day layoff by hosting Goffstown on Wednesday and then head to Bow on Friday. Winnacunnet, which rounds out the top 5, goes to Bedford on Friday night.

Pinkerton stayed at No. 6, getting a first-place vote, and the Astros will host Nashua South on Wednesday and head to Manchester Memorial on Friday night. Portsmouth moved up two spots to seventh, as the Clippers will host Bow on Tuesday before going to Merrimack Valley on Friday.

Souhegan, which dropped one spot to eighth, will play at Hollis Brookline on Tuesday night before hosting Derryfield on Friday. Kennett moved into the poll at No. 9 and the Eagles will take that ranking to Plymouth on Tuesday before returning home to face Lebanon on Thursday.

Bedford rounded out the top 10, as the Bulldogs head to Timberlane on Wednesday before hosting Winnacunnet on Friday.
