Fast starts to each half help lift Bishop Guertin girls lacrosse to win over Londonderry

LONDONDERRY – Kerry Gobiel had an idea as to why the Bishop Guertin High School girls lacrosse team started off hot in each half of Tuesday’s game against Londonderry.

As time crept along, the Cardinals got cold – literally.

Bishop Guertin scored eight times in the first 12 minutes of each half and the defense took care of the rest as the Cardinals rolled to a 12-2 win over the Lancers in the first Division I game of the season for both teams.
