WEARE – The Pelham High School football team ran for more than four hundred yards Saturday to roll past John Stark for a 47-0 win.

The Pythons (2-0 in Division II) ran 41 times for 410 yards, averaging 10 yards per carry, while holding the Generals to 58 yards, including minus-16 in the second half.

Ben Maslanek led the way with 98 yards and three touchdowns on the ground while Luke Draper added 82 yards and a touchdown and Kevin Hardy had 72 yards and a score. Hardy also completed 3 of 4 passes for 53 yards, including a 17-yard touchdown pass to Jacob Chafe to get Pelham on the board in the first quarter.

Chafe also returned a John Stark fumble 13 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter. Brady Williams also ran for 68 yards and Noah Johnson had 51 yards rushing.

AJ Bellen led the Generals (1-1) with 68 yards rushing on 12 carries.

Manchester West 37, Hollis Brookline 0

Jarome Henert had two touchdowns and recovered a fumble to help lead the Blue Knights past the Cavaliers.

Henert had a combined 65 yards on offense and had seven tackles, two for loss, on defense, while Manny Mendoza was 13 of 21 passing for 182 yards with three touchdowns and an interception.

Liam King (87 total yards) and Myles White (three catches, 52 yards) each had a touchdown reception while Rayvon Nelson had 54 total yards and ran for a score. Camden Rapaglia Armstrong had three tackles and an interception on defense.

Stevie Nieble completed 10 of 17 passes for 98 yards and an interception for HB and Cole Duncan had six catches for 65 yards while Velez had three catches for 22 yards.

Division IV

Farmington-Nute 22, Franklin 6

Ethan Burrows helped lead Farmington-Nute’s rushing attack as it dominated time of possession against the Golden Tornadoes.

Burrows ran for 131 yards on 16 carries, including a 20-yard touchdown run and a two-point conversion, as Farmington-Nute ran for 255 yards on 41 carries and had the ball for 31 minutes.

Scotty Milliken added 63 yards rushing while recovering a fumble and grabbing an interception on defense. Burrows also forced and recovered a fumble.

Division III

Fall Mountain 24, Kearsarge 14

Max Wyman and Tanner Michaud connected for two touchdowns to help lead the Wildcats to a win over the Cougars.

Wyman was 4 of 10 passing for 128 yards and also threw an interception while Michaud had two catches, going for touchdowns of 65 and 53 yards. Paul Young ran in the two-point conversion on both scores for Fall Mountain (1-1).

Kearsarge (0-2) cut the lead to 16-14 in the fourth quarter, but the Wildcats put the game away on an interception return for a score by Jack Marsh. Wyman scored on the two-point conversion to clinch the win.

Laconia 15, Gilford 14

Sean O’Sullivan caught an 8-yard touchdown pass from Carter Jones with three minutes left and the Laconia High School football team came back to beat Gilford 15-14 Thursday night.

The extra point by Sam Hogg gave the Sachems (1-1 in Division III) the lead and an interception by Jacob Tryon sealed the win for Laconia.

Tyron also had a 5-yard touchdown run on the first play of the second quarter and completed a pass to Ryan Walsh for a two-point conversion that gave the Sachems an 8-0 lead.

Gilford (1-1) answered the score on its next possession, as Mark Uicker found Emmett Hughes for a 10-yard touchdown on fourth-and-6. Lukas Diaz ran in the two-point conversion to tie the game at 8.

The Golden Eagles opened the second half with a 10-play, 71-yard drive that took up 6 minutes and 38 seconds end ended with a 29-yard touchdown run by Diaz. But the junior running back was hurt on the play, and while he eventually returned, was out for the conversion, which the Sachems stopped.

Laconia’s defense did not allow a first down for the rest of the game.

Division I

No. 7 Bishop Guertin 48, Merrimack 8

Nate Bowen scored two touchdowns on the ground and had another through the air as the Cardinals romped to a win over the Tomahawks.

Bowen was 11 of 16 passing for 192 yards with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Jonah Feliciano and two interception, and he also ran five times for 52 yards, with scoring runs of 30 and 3 yards. Feliciano also ran for a touchdown wile Logan Curran had 72 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

Hudson Schmitt added 66 yards and a touchdown on the ground and Will Adams also ran for 92 yards, as Bishop Guertin (1-0 in D1, 2-0 overall, No. 7 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center /NHHSSports Coaches Poll) had 348 yards on the ground as a team.

Rocco Roy had four catches for 90 yards and the Cardinals had 543 total yards of offense.

Maverick Torres completed 17 of 38 passes for 186 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Merrimack (0-2). Zach Retey had two catches for 39 yards and a score while Cayden Dine caught seven passes for 98 yards.

Malden (Mass.) Catholic 28, Windham 6

Brady Clementi had the lone score for the Jaguars, as he caught a 4-yard pass from Adrian Bergman in a loss to the Lancers.

Bergman was 13 of 28 passing for 98 yards and Brandon Jacobs had five catches for 30 yards to lead Windham (0-1, 0-2). Mike Brearley added 60 yards rushing on 16 carries and had a sack on defense, while Parker Francis had seven tackles and Rob Durkin recorded six.

No. 1 Bedford 34, No. 3 Nashua South 14

Bennett Matthews ran for two touchdowns and threw for two more to lead the Bulldogs past the Panthers at Stellos Stadium.

Matthews was 13 of 17 for 164 yards, with a pair of touchdown passes to Brycen D’Urso (eight catches, 97 yards), and the senior ran for 102 yards and two more scores. Brody Helton added 93 yards on 19 carries while D’Urso had 19 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Spaulding 29, Keene 21

The Blackbirds had a 21-8 lead in the third quarter, but the Red Raiders rallied with 21 unanswered points to get the win.

Cody Lambert ran for two touchdown while Max Drena and Marcos Norton each caught a touchdown pass from Connor Jackson for Spaulding (1-1).

Braydon French had a rushing touchdown and threw a touchdown pass to Seth Clark but was 10 of 23 passing for 90 yards with four interceptions. Jack Gillard ran for 82 yards on 22 carries and Colin Tinnin 56 yards on 12 carries
