The teams were tied at halftime and at the end of the third quarter, but the Green Wave (7-5) held a 13-9 advantage in the final eight minutes for a 62-58 win over the Tomahawks (8-3).
A game after scoring 34 points, Dimitri Floras led Merrimack with 17 points and Tyler Gendron added 14, as the Tomahawks have now lost two in a row following a six-game winning streak.
Dover got 18 points from Kenaan Al-Darraji and another 16 from Morgan Faustino.
