Girls Lacrosse Roundup: Winnacunnet holds off Bedford for win (video)
Here are results from Saturday’s high school girls lacrosse action.
BEDFORD – Ari Rizzo scored four goals Saturday to help the Winnacunnet High School girls lacrosse team get a 9-5 win over Bedford.
McKinley Fowler added three goals and two assists while Elle Emery and Hannah Curtin had a goal and an assist apiece for the Warriors (7-2, No. 7 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll).
Annika Jacques chipped in an assist and Benten Lyford finished with eight saves.
Mary Lenti had a pair of goals and was 12 of 16 on the draw while Paige Gibson, Eloise Montagano and Carly Hodgdon-Rogers added a goal apiece. Irene Tsai recorded six saves for the Bulldogs (6-4, No. 8).
