When the shots aren’t falling, the Grizzlies need a healthy dose of defense to keep them in games, and that’s what they used in Tuesday night’s opener against Bishop Guertin.
Goffstown overcame a five-minute scoreless stretch in the first half to take a lead into halftime, thanks in part to its zone defense, and the Grizzlies made their free throws when it counted to grab a 52-44 win over the Cardinals in the Division I season-opener for both teams.
