GOFFSTOWN – There wasn’t much for the Goffstown High School football team to go over at halftime of Saturday’s Division I quarterfinal.
The Grizzlies just had to execute a little better on both sides of the ball than they had in the first 24 minutes.
Goffstown did just that, opening the third quarter with a 10-play touchdown drive and getting three interceptions on defense, as the Grizzlies pulled away in the second half for a 35-7 win over Bedford. The win sends Goffstown to the D1 semifinals, where it will face Winnacunnet on Saturday at a time and place to be determined.
