AMHERST – It’s almost that time of year, when it doesn’t matter how teams get a win, only that they figure out way to do so.

The Hollis Brookline High School field hockey team found a way Friday afternoon to make it happen.

The Cavaliers took an early lead, withstood a response from Souhegan late in the first half, and then put the game away in the fourth quarter for a 4-1 win in the regular-season finale for both teams.
