HOLLIS – The Hollis Brookline High School field hockey team may not have seen a lot of adversity on the field this season, but coach Greg Cochrane knew the Cavaliers would be ready when they were presented with it. 

One of those moments happened Monday against Oyster River and HB responded the way its head coach believed it would. 

The Cavs overcame a third quarter that saw the Bobcats tie the game, and then almost take the lead, but the game eventually went to overtime. After Oyster River had three penalty corners to open the 7-on-7 play, HB countered and took a 2-1 win when Nyah Jernberg found the back of the cage with 4:49 remaining.
