BEDFORD – All year, the Hollis Brookline High School field hockey team had a way it wanted to play going into every game.
The Division II championship game Saturday night was no different, and the Cavaliers were able to play their game once again.
Top-seeded HB scored off two penalty corners, including one in the final minute of the third quarter that gave the Cavs some breathing room, and they held off No. 3 John Stark for a 2-0 win at Bedford High School. The championship is the first for HB in field hockey in only its second title-game appearance.
