That’s one reason why the Hawks coach likes to see his team play at a faster tempo. When someone needs a break, the next guy up is there to get the job done.
In Wednesday’s Division III semifinal, top-seeded Hopkinton was able to overcome some early nerves to get out and run past No. 4 Plymouth. The Hawks broke the game open by outscoring the Bobcats 6-1 in the second quarter and never looked back in an 11-2 win that gives the defending champions a chance to make it two in a row.
