Katie Silegy recorded a hat trick to lead the Keene High School girls soccer team to a 4-1 win over Nashua South on Friday.

Bri Davis also had a goal and an assist for the Blackbirds (2-0-1), while Lauren Smith scored the only goal for the Panthers (2-1) off an assist from Marina McIntosh.

Silegy started the scoring in the 36th minute, giving Keene the lead, but it didn’t last long. Smith tied the game three minutes later and the teams went into the half at 1-1.

The Blackbirds went ahead for good, as Silegy scored in 54th minute, and added her third goal four minutes later. Davis tacked on another score in the 67th minute.

South will try to bounce back on Wednesday, when it hosts Exeter, while Keene heads to Con-Val on Tuesday.
