Keene solidifies hold on top spot in NHHSSports Field Hockey Coaches Poll

The Keene High School field hockey team may have had its first non-win of the season, but that didn’t keep the Blackbirds from tightening their hold on No. 1 in the NHHSSports Coaches Poll.
For the third week in a row, Keene holds down the top spot, and this week, it received all of the first-place votes. The Blackbirds will start their week at Windham, in a game that was postponed from Monday to Tuesday, and then host Nashua North on Wednesday.
Bedford jumped up to the second spot in the poll and the Bulldogs will look to keep rolling with games at Winnacunnet on Monday and home against Timberlane on Thursday. Exeter dropped one spot to No. 3 and will host Salem on Monday and Bishop Guertin on Wednesday before going to Concord on Thursday.
After spending three weeks at No. 5, Bishop Guertin moves up a spot to fourth. The Cardinals will host Dover Tuesday at Rivier University before the trip to Exeter on Wednesday. Concord jumped up two spots to round out the top five. The Crimson Tide go to Pinkerton on Monday, then host Londonderry on Wednesday and Exeter on Thursday.
Dover dropped to No. 6 this week, with the trip to Bishop Guertin coming before a home game against Nashua South on Wednesday. Pinkerton also fell one spot to No. 7, and the Astros will go to Salem on Wednesday after hosting Concord on Monday.
Hollis Brookline jumped two spots to No. 8 and the Cavaliers will play their final two home games this week, hosting Pelham on Wednesday and Pembroke on Friday.
Winnacunnet held on to the ninth spot, and after hosting Bedford on Monday, will go to Portsmouth on Wednesday. After suffering its first loss last week, Oyster River dropped to No. 10 in the poll; the Bobcats will host Hanover on Tuesday before going to John Stark on Thursday.
