The Blackbirds, who won the Division I championship Saturday for the program’s first title, received all 10 first-place votes to end the year at the top of the poll. Dover, which fell to Keene in the final, came in at No. 2 in the poll.
Exeter, which fell to Dover in the D1 semifinals, finished third, just ahead of Pinkerton, which lost to Keene in the D1 semifinals. Hollis Brookline rounded out the top five after winning the Division II title for its first field hockey championship.
Bedford finished sixth after falling to Exeter in the D1 quarterfinals, while Concord was seventh following its loss to Dover, also in the D1 quarterfinals. Bishop Guertin took eighth after seeing its season end in the D1 quarterfinals against Keene.
John Stark moved back into the poll, coming in ninth following its loss to HB in the D2 championship game. Oyster River came in at No. 10, after it fell in the D2 quarterfinals to Hanover.
