King, Khalil named New Hampshire Miss and Mr. Basketball for 2021

Isabella King and Dylan Khalil were selected as New Hampshire Miss and Mr. Basketball for the 2021 season by the New Hampshire Basketball Coaches Organization.

King, a senior from Bedford High School, helped lead the Bulldogs to their first Division I championship, and second overall, since 2012, while also becoming the first girl to score over 1,000 points while at Bedford. She was also named the D1 Player of the Year and will continue her playing career at Bucknell University.

Khalil, a senior who helped lead Sanborn to the semifinals for the first time in school history, was also a 1,000-point scorer for the Indians, averaging 22 points a game this year. He was also named the D2 Player of the Year and the Jack Ford Award winner in the division, and plans to attend the University of New Hampshire next year.
