The Laconia High School boys lacrosse team returned nine out of 10 starters in 2022. 

During the regular season, the Sachems allowed an average of just 4.3 goals per game and gave up double digits only once.

And in the Division III semifinals, they pulled off the biggest upset of the season, handing undefeated and top-seeded Campbell its only loss of the year. 

But when Laconia took the field last Sunday against Hopkinton for the D3 championship, none of that mattered, and the Sachems played like it. They got off to a fast start and held on for a 12-10 win over the Hawks.
