NASHUA – Katie Littlefield tells the Pinkerton Academy field hockey team that sometimes its OK to just throw a shot at the goal.
After missing out on a handful of opportunities to do just that throughout the second half Wednesday, the Astros finally did, with little time to spare.
Lauren Lisauskas was able to bury a loose ball into the back of the goal with 39 seconds left in regulation to give Pinkerton a 2-1 win over Bishop Guertin in a Division I game at Stellos Stadium.
