For the second week in a row, the Londonderry High School boys lacrosse team finds itself a spot higher in the MerchSquard.com/NHHSSports Coaches Poll.
The Lancers moved up one more spot this week, just edging out Winnacunnet for No. 7 in the top 10. Bishop Guertin was again the unanimous No. 1, getting all 16 first-place votes, with Bedford again at No. 2.
The Cardinals will wrap up the regular season this week by hosting Exeter at Rivier University on Wednesday and then go to Londonderry on Thursday. The Bulldogs end the year with games at Manchester on Tuesday and Keene-Monadnock on Wednesday before hosting Pinkerton on Friday.
The Astros remained at No. 3 this week and host Nashua North on Wednesday before the finale at Bedford. Exeter held off Derryfield again, as the teams stayed at Nos. 4 and 5. The Blue Hawks finish up at Bishop Guertin while the Cougars host Spaulding on Tuesday and go to Oyster River-Newmarket on Friday.
Portsmouth remained at No. 6 and the Clippers will be at Hollis Brookline on Tuesday before wrapping up at home Thursday against Kingswood. Londonderry will go to Concord on Wednesday before its home game against Bishop Guertin.
Winnacunnet, which dropped a spot to No. 8, will finish its regular season at Hanover on Tuesday.
Merrimack stayed at No. 9 and will end the regular season at Manchester on Wednesday, while Timberlane held on to the final spot in the top 10. The Owls will go to Pembroke on Tuesday and host Hollis Brookline on Friday.
