There was a time not too long ago when the Londonderry High School football team would have lost a game like Friday night’s contest against Pinkerton Academy.

The Lancers got out to a 13-0 lead, but saw the Astros score twice in less than three minutes to take a one-point lead. 

But instead of letting the swing in momentum get to them, the Lancers regrouped and retook the lead on a field goal before halftime and scored early in the fourth quarter to put away a 23-14 win over the Astros.
