DERRY – Kelly Gordon believed the Londonderry High School girls lacrosse team was capable of big things this season.

With the regular season coming to a close, the Lancers look like they are starting to believe, too.

Londonderry turned a one-goal lead at halftime Tuesday into a six-goal advantage in the second half and held on for a 14-10 win over Pinkerton Academy, the Lancers’ first win over the Astros since the 2017 regular season.
